Chef
Executive Chef Chris Masco
Most recently, Chef Masco served as the Executive Chef at the Westin Copley Place in Boston, MA where he helped implement many sustainable practices throughout the hotels food and beverage venues as well as facilitating a green recycling initiative. Prior to that he spent many years at The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Florida as Chef de Cuisine and later Executive Chef, managing over 250,000 square feet of meeting space and seven restaurants. Masco also spent time early in his career at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta where his culinary career in the hospitality industry began.
Chef Masco received his training at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, graduating in 1996. He has had the pleasure of working on many special projects over the years including teaching American cuisine to Tokyo locals and implementing American menus at the Westin Kyoto and Westin Tokyo in 2007; Assisted in catering the Greater Milwaukee Open Professional Golf Tournament with the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee in 2001; and while on assignment at the Hyatt Regency Thessanoloki, Greece, Masco created menus and performed at food functions for the American Ambassador of Greece, and participated in their American Regional food festival.
